Delicious Manti Topping With Öz Antep's Aromatic Tomato Paste

Manti is a popular dumpling dish from Turkish cuisine. To enjoy this specialty, the small dumplings are filled similarly to ravioli and usually served with a hearty meat or potato filling. The dumplings are traditionally prepared in a broth or in a tomato-yogurt sauce.

With the use of the Öz Antep tomato paste, you can take your manti preparation to a new level. This tomato paste is rich in aroma and taste and gives the sauce a special touch. Here’s a recipe for making manti with Öz Antep tomato paste:

Ingredients

  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 1 tbsp Öz Antep tomato paste
  • 1 tsp paprika powder
  • 1 tsp dried mint
  • 1/2 cup of Manti-Brew

For Yogurt Sauce

  • 1 cup of yogurt
  • 1 garlic clove
  • 1 tsp salt

Preparation

  • First, heat the butter in a pan and add the Öz Antep tomato paste. Heat over medium heat for 2-3 minutes, stirring constantly.
  • Add paprika powder and mint and heat for another minute while stirring.
  • Add the Manti broth and mix everything well. As an option, warm water can be added.
  • Simmer the sauce over low heat for another 2–3 minutes, then remove from the heat.
  • For the yogurt sauce, put the yogurt in a bowl; peel and press the garlic; add and mix with salt.
  • Arrange the Manti on a plate, add the tomato and yogurt sauce, and enjoy!
