Recipe For Tomato Soup

Ingredients

  • 4 tomatoes
  • 1 tbsp tomato paste from Öz Antep
  • 1 tsp butter
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1/2 cup of milk
  • 1 tbsp flour
  • 1 tsp salt
  • coarsely ground black pepper from Öz Antep
  • 5 cups of water

So here's how it works:

  1. Cut the tomatoes in half and gently rub the peel.
  2. Heat the butter and olive oil in a pot.
  3. Roast the flour with the butter and olive oil for 2–3 minutes.
  4. Add the tomato paste and the grated tomatoes while stirring the roasted flour with a whisk.
  5. Stir to avoid lumping and slowly add the water.
  6. Add the spices and let the soup boil for 10–15 minutes.
  7. Add the milk and stir before serving; enjoy!
