Tekirdag meatballs with the special touch of Öz Antep’s Seasoning Fix

We distinguish 300 different types of meatball dishes in Turkish cuisine. Tekirdag meatballs, also known as cevapcici in Balkan countries, are among the top 10. The taste of this meatball depends on the correct use and seasoning of beef.

For this, ground beef is taken from the rib and, after it has been seasoned, left in the refrigerator to absorb the flavor. Tekirdag meatballs are often served with a tasty red pepper dip.

By using a special Tekirdag style meatball Fix, you can take your meatball preparation to a new level. Our seasoning mix, which optimally develops the taste of beef, consists of the following spices:

  • Paprika flakes
  • chili pepper powder
  • garlic powder
  • onion powder
  • thyme
  • cumin
  • pepper

  • salt

Ingredients

1 kg of minced meat

Öz Antep's Seasoning Fix for Tekirdag meatballs

Preparation

1 kg of minced meat with some water and Seasoning Fix from Öz Antep to be combined

Refrigerate the seasoned minced meat for 1 hour.

Then form the Tekirdag meatballs, grill the shaped meatballs, or fry them in a pan.

These meatballs can be served with Öz Antep's tomato or paprika paste. Black pepper, paprika flakes, oregano, and sumac are available for fries or salad.
